How does the Glo Pals sensory jar work?

To open the jar, squeeze both handles of the lid while twisting it. This acts as a child safety device. 

Make sure the lid is on correctly before playing. Insert your child's favourite sensory accessories into the jar. This can include coloured ribbons, crystals, pompoms and other accessories (accessories not included)

Then fill the jar with water to activate the jar's illumination function (water pressing on the bottom of the jar activates its illumination). Tap the base of the jar to change the colour of the light manually. After 5 seconds, the jar will automatically start changing colours again.

To deactivate the jar's backlighting function, place the jar with the lid down (so that the water does not come into contact with the bottom of the jar).

Use only a Phillips screwdriver 1 to change the batteries. 

The jar requires 3 AAA batteries - not included with the product.

How to care for the sensory jar?

After playing, the jar should be emptied of water and any additives. If your child is keen, allow them to fish out the inserted items, an extra fine motor exercise. Store the jar in a dry place at room temperature. The battery container and batteries must be kept dry at all times; the jar must not be submerged in water. For hygienic reasons, do not leave liquid in the jar for more than 24 hours. 

The jar can be washed by hand with soap and water, but be careful not to get the external parts responsible for the product's function.

Glo Pals is an American brand of products for sensory stimulation during water or water play. Glo Pals products were inspired by the story of an autistic boy who was afraid of bathing. Glo Pals' luminous products helped him overcome his fear of water.
