MITELESS works by emitting ultrasonic pulses that disrupt the life cycle of house dust mites. These impulses make finding food and breeding mites much more difficult - thus the population of dust mites near the device is reduced. Household dust mite excrements are highly allergenic, so the device is recommended to be used especially by allergy sufferers, asthmatics, children and the elderly, thus reducing the burden on their respiratory system. The ultrasounds emitted by MITELESS are completely harmless to humans and pets.
